Long Road 03:32
Long Road (Written by S. Trainor, 2015) Some say I’m a fool, some say I’m a dreamer I don’t really care about that Dreams are made of fools and fools take chances And I don’t care if you call me that Get up in the morning, feel the world turning I pack my car and I go Where the road takes me, is where my soul breaks me And where I’m headed, nobody knows CHORUS There’ll be dark clouds on that horizon A long road that seems to lead to nowhere Well dark clouds have a silver lining A Long Road paved with gold Well I’ve got holes in my pockets and holes in my shoes It breaks my heart just to break the news I’d rather strum a guitar and carry my scars And hear the voice of my beautiful muse (CHORUS) Oh I need a place I can breathe Oh I need a place I can grow Don’t want to call it home Don’t want to call it home Don’t want to call it home Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah I have a girl who can show me the world With every smile she takes And lift me up to the gates of heaven And make me sin at the end of the day (CHORUS)

Sunsets and Silhouettes (Written by S. Trainor, 2015) You don’t know how much you shine But I can see it when I look into your eyes A diamond shining in a city of stone Dirt roads turn into interstates Pave the way past our mistakes Lean back let the world pass you by As the sun fades down on this little town Maybe we can take the night CHORUS Baby we can lay down Let’s get tangled up in the sheets Don’t you know how love sounds? Don’t you know what’s in our reach? Baby we can bet, bet, bet, bet This is something we won’t forget Sunsets and Silhouettes I’ll fall into you as you fall into me Baby we can make another memory Tonight, let me break into your broken heart As the sun fades down on an empty sky Place your hand on mine (CHORUS) I want to make you smile for a little while Just tell me what to do Even after I leave, one promise I’ll keep I’m never giving up on you (CHORUS) AARON LAWSON- Drums ALEJANDRO TREVINO- Bass CIERRA LOUISE- Background Vocals MARK DESCHNER- Electric Guitar SEAN TRAINOR- Vocals, Background Vocals, B3, Piano, Acoustic Guitars ZACK LEFFREW- Electric Guitar

Peter Pan’s Growing Old (Written by S. Trainor, 2014) I was barely three, Sitting on his knee out on the front porch Fairy tales and storybooks, Dashing tales of Captain Hook and Peter Pan And he’d say, “Second star to the right And straight on ‘til morning light” CHORUS And we flew high in the tales that he told And sail on ships, searching for lost gold Time stood still down in Never NeverLand But Peter Pan’s growing old Peter Pan’s growing old Well we moved down south, To a better car and a bigger house in Carolina Grandpa would visit every year Once he gave me my first beer out on the back porch And he’d say, “Second star to the right And straight on ‘til morning light” (CHORUS) Well it was in late November That he took his final breath He was smiling as he said “I lived a good life, with my kids and my wife and death is an awfully great adventure” Now I’m 22 years old And he is nothing but a ghost Watching over me If you can see a man in me When you look into my eyes He’s the reason why (CHORUS)

Tar Heel Road (Written by S. Trainor, 2015) They call me Hayes T. Witherford I was born in the hills of Richmond in 1834 I left home when I was 16 with everything I owned Headed down south to find the Tar Heel Road The States divided sometime in ’61, I took to the shipyard, instead of fighting with a gun, On the western rivers and cold Cumberland lines I bathed in tar, pitch and turpentine And I built the ship that withstood the rain From the coast of Savannah, to the wave rocks in Maine And wherever I went, wherever I roamed I was stuck here in the Tar Heel Road Oh at night I would dream of the West Country sky And the visions it would cast in the Carolina night Down near the Tar Heel Road Tomorrow’s horizons, the rebel calls The warm western wind that carried it all Oh I’m running with a heavy load But I’m stuck in the Tar Heel Road I met a gypsy girl on a mountainside A Cherokee beauty, selling animal hides We danced in a river ‘til the dawn approached Then headed back to camp near the Tar Heel Road But there are some things That will never change Like what people think and what they find strange So we packed our bags and we left our home Swore we’d never come back to Tar Heel Road Oh at night we would dream of the West Country sky And the visions it would cast in the Carolina night Out by the Tar Heel Road Tomorrow’s horizons, the rebel calls The warm western wind that carried it all Oh we’re running with a heavy load Far away from the Tar Heel Road But as we crossed that state line A rebel troop took us alive They hung us up, in a tall oak tree And that’s where I died, swinging high in the breeze Say Goodbye to the dreams in the West Country sky And the visions it would cast in the Carolina night Down near the Tar Heel Road Tomorrow’s horizons, the rebel calls The warm western wind that carried it all Oh I’m running with a heavy load Like all the stories that go untold The ones that run deep, deep in the soul And that’s how I died on the Tar Heel Road Sometimes at night when the west wind blows You can hear my voice beneath the Tar Heel Road

Oh Say Can You See? (Written by S. Trainor, 2013) Late December, early light Praying to God that I’m alright Oh they put a rifle in my hand Shipped me to a dirty, foreign land I lay my head on the cold hard ground I close my eyes and cast these demons out Try to separate the wrong from right Cause man I ain’t got strength tonight CHORUS Oh say can you see, This flag’s not waving in the breeze Oh beautiful skies Once filled with amber, and now filled with cries Oh say can you see Well my grandpa fought in World War Two And never said too much about the hell that he went through He’d say, “Freedom always comes with a price Don’t ask who’s getting paid tonight” (CHORUS) Peace on earth never sounded so wrong If the things we do to win this war, Tear us from what we’ve been dying for (CHORUS) Late December, early light Hope that I make it through the night

Wonderfully Made- from TLC’s Answered Prayers (Written by S. Trainor, 2013) The storm is coming now So hide yourself in the sand The wind might knock you down But you can choose where to stand There’s perfect in every imperfect day ‘Cause you were wonderfully made The thought that you might fail May kill the chance you succeed You could live behind a veil And lose the chance to be free And there’s strength in the times when strength has strayed ‘Cause you were wonderfully made And when the road is dark, I’ll be there to hold you And when you’ve had enough, I’ll be there to hold you Oh you have been wonderfully made Oh you have been wonderfully made There’s times when love will come And times when love will fade And times when you’re on your knees So trust that you find the way Have faith in the times when you’re afraid ‘Cause you were wonderfully made

She’s The Only One I Want To Hold (Written by S. Trainor, 2013) Open the window my dear And let the sunlight appear Seasons will come and seasons will go And she’s the only one I want to hold Come lay down and rest And put your head on my chest We can stay here until we grow old ‘Cause she’s the only one I want to hold Oh she’s a sanctuary sacred and pure So hypnotizing, so hard to endure Breathe out my love, breathe out my love, breathe out She had questions about her life Who’s God, who’s man, who’s wrong, who’s right? Well it’s better off to leave some things untold ‘Cause she’s the only one I want to hold Oh how the sun just lies on her face I rise in the morning, just to watch her as she wakes Breathe out my love, breathe out my love, breathe out Big brown eyes, yeah they’re something to see When she walks in the room, I can hardly breathe Well she could do better than me, or at least I’m told But I’m the only one she wants to hold I’m the only one she wants to hold I’m the only one she wants to hold

Love Will Find A Way (Written by S. Trainor, 2014) Well everyone’s complaining About working through the week Saying I don’t make enough money I don’t get enough sleep But when it comes down to it We’re all looking for the same thing We’re looking for a brighter day Looking for love to find a way Well baby if you want more Simply expect less Free your mind from worry Let your heart do the rest Forgive the ones who hurt you Pain’s not worth it in the end Keep looking for a brighter day I’m talking about love will find a way And when the waters rise around you You gotta hold yourself high, and sing CHORUS Love will find a way Through it all we’re gonna make a brighter day Love will find a way ‘Cause we need something to believe in To see the light of day I believe love will find a way Love will find a way, yeah Me I’ve always been a dreamer I hate getting out of bed And I’m tired of singing love songs That I made up in my head If faith is just believing Then why aren’t I receiving? I keep looking for a brighter day I’m looking for love to find a way When the waters rise around me I’m hold my head high, and sing (CHORUS) So let the waters fall, let the waters fall down So let the waters fall, let the waters fall down So let the waters fall let the waters fall down (X3) (CHORUS)

Highway Rider (Written by S. Trainor, 2015) I’m sitting down here by the highway side Nothing but time on my hands Cars rushing down Route 35 And tail lights shining in your eyes I’ve left behind every seed I’ve sown Hidden in every red dirt field But there are somethings I have not been shown And I don’t want to ride this road alone CHORUS Baby take the wheel ‘Cause this road is hard to travel And I know that it’s put miles on our hearts I need some rest Oh you make the days move easy We need some place, that we can call our home Oh we’re highway riders I’ll wash my hands of all my sins And say goodbye to this child I’ll turn the radio up and let a song pour in Then let it drift off in the wind Oh it doesn’t matter where we go As long as I have you to hold So I’ll roam with you under the red plain clouds For as long as all this roaming’s allowed (CHORUS) I’m sitting down here by the highway side Nothing but time on my hands
